Bruegel was generally considered the greatest Flemish painter of the 16th century. His paintings, including his landscapes and scenes of peasant life, stress the absurd and vulgar, yet are full of zest and fine detail. They also expose human weaknesses and follies. He was sometimes called the "peasant Bruegel" from such works as Peasant Wedding Feast (1567).

The design is stitched on 18ct aida fabric allowing for very good detail. The design is suitable for all levels of experience as only full stitches are used.

This collection is stunningly life like and easy to stitch. Kit contains fabric, pre-sorted threads on a thread organiser, needle and instructions.
