This sampler was designed and stitched by Larisa Sporich, who lives in the town of Bendery, in Moldova. It features traditional Russian motifs, as well as elements derived from western European and American samplers.

Only double running and cross stitches are required to execute the sampler. Larisa, and her friends, support their families by creating samplers like this, using materials supplied by The Scarlet Letter. On 30 count linen, the finished sampler will measure approximately 9" x 17", and is recommended for beginning level needleworkers.
