This is an exact reproduction of a sentimental miniature gift sampler, the original is in the collection of Maureen Morris.

It can easily be personalised for a wedding or anniversary gift by filling in the space between the verse and scene with initials and a date, as The Scarlet Letter have done on their model.

The kit is supplied with silk floss, and is stitched over one and two threads of linen, with cross, counted satin, lazy daisy, counted stem, and backstitches, all clearly diagrammed in the instructions along with a separate charted alphabet and numerals for personalising it.
