Keridwen is the name of a mythical Celtic Goddess of Nature who possesses a magic cauldron with three properties: inexhaustibility, inspiration and regeneration, symbolising the reproductive power of the earth. The designer, Sammy Brewer,  chose it as a name for her home in the village of Burghead, which is situated on a rocky promontory overlooking the Moray Firth in Grampian, Northeast Scotland. When Sammy decided to launch her business selling Celtic cross-stitch designs a few years back it was a natural progression to call her business Keridwen Crafts.

This Celtic Collection of cross stitch designs emulates the intricacies of Celtic Art in a variety of styles including knot-work, key patterns, spirals, plant, animal and human forms.
