The Samplers in this collection are stitched using muted, earthy coloured threads and fabrics, which makes the finished Sampler look aged and authentic.

Kit contains chart and instructions, needle, fabric and pre-sorted DMC stranded cotton threads on a loaded thread organiser.

This design depicts a typical 17th Century Band Sampler, where rows of repeating border designs were stitched in a long and narrow band. The Sampler contains many borders that were commonly used on original Samplers such as the border worked in a Renaissance-style vines pattern.
