Worked in soft shades of pink and green, this mixed stitch sampler was inspired by Eloise's (designer's daughter) love of hearts and flowers and all things pink and sparkly.

The sampler is topped by a stylized Bargello Rose. Bands of pulled and drawn thread embroidery, speciality stitches,  silk ribbon embroidery, and cross stitch continue the hearts & flowers and butterfly themes. Metallic threads and beads add sparkle, and a Hardanger heart embellished with a Mill Hill Glass treasure complete the design.
