This sampler in pink and peach shades was designed for the designer's friend Dorothy.

A flock of flamingos, cross stitched over one in a beautiful overdyed thread are the focal point of the design, which also incorporates drawn thread embroidery, Hardanger and various speciality stitches. Blackwork (pinkwork?) feathers sparkle with swarovski crystals and petite gold beads and metallic thread add further lustre.

A Goody Bag containing the House of Embroidery overdyed cotton, crystal treasures and beads required for the design is available.
