Manufactured by the oldest established family firm of pewterers in the world since 1779. This family firm have been making pewter since 1779. The present family members are members of the Worshipful Company of Pewterers (whose origins can be traced back to 1348), as were their forebears and Freemen of the City of London.

Historically this company have produced traditional Pewterware (Holloware) for palaces, cathedrals, stately homes, major Film TV and Theatre Companies as well as domestic Pewterware. They continue to produce hand cast traditional pewterware giving collectors an unrivalled choice of Pewter - each piece made by Craftsmen.

Pewter is a mixture of metals, the largest portion being pure tin. British pewter contains at least 90% tin together with antimony and copper, which are required to harden and strengthen the alloy. The result is pewter, the fourth most valuable metal in general use after platinum, gold and silver.

Pewterware is made from solid metal, and unlike plated metals with a limited durability, will last indefinitely.
