This popular 19th Century American patchwork pattern is said to represent log cabins on the prairie. Each block has a red square at the centre for the hearth, then the careful piecing is arranged with a light side for the sunny side of the house and a dark side for the shadows.
Kit contains stitch chart and instructions, needle, colour printed 12 count interlock canvas and Appleton's wools.
